The VeilChain Approach: Merkle Trees for Immutable Ledgers
VeilChain strips away the blockchain complexity while keeping the cryptographic guarantees. At its core, VeilChain uses merkle trees - the same tamper-proof data structure that powers Bitcoin’s transaction verification - to create an immutable ledger.
How It Works
Append entries - Hash your data and add it to the merkle tree. Each entry is immutable once added to the ledger.
Generate merkle proofs - Get compact O(log n) cryptographic proofs that any entry exists in the immutable ledger.
Verify anywhere - Merkle proofs can be verified offline, by anyone, without needing to trust VeilChain.
Anchor externally - Publish your merkle root hash to Bitcoin, Ethereum, or public transparency logs for ultimate tamper-proof verification.
